Bio & Artist Statement:

Shannon began her jewellery career while in university as a beaded jewellery artist. Upon graduating from the University of Ottawa with a bachelor of honours in psychology, she decided to leave academia behind and follow her passion – jewellery design. Shannon felt she had exhausted all possible outlets with her beaded jewellery and felt the need to evolve. She enrolled in the Vancouver Community College Jewellery art and Design program, left her life in Ontario behind, and moved to Vancouver to follow her dream.
